Hudson is always saying funny things and I just wanted to record a few that he has said over the last couple of months!
- We were going to go out to lunch and told him that we were going to Chili's. He said "That's pretty cold!"
- I asked him to go to the bathroom and he said he didn't need to go. I made him go in and try anyway. When he came out he said, "I totally had to go potty!"
- "When I grow up I'm gonna be Batman"... over the next few days he decided he wanted to be Hercules, then changed his mind back to Batman.
- He got out my phone and was playing with the buttons, then he says, "I'm gonna text Dad."
- He has definately started pretending more lately. He has always loved to play with hair and has now made up the "Haircut Game." Luckily, no real hair has been cut, and I am making sure to try and keep the real scissors locked up!
- His newest game is the "Birthday Game." We take turns pretending it is our birthday. Our friends come over, sing to us, and then we eat cake. Then we give a present to the birthday person. I love how his imagination is just taking off!
- Sometimes when Hudson isn't getting dressed or doing what we ask him to we try to race him and do it first. Sometimes he likes it and it works, but other times he says he doesn't want to race us. One time he was yelling, "I don't wanna be beaten!!" over and over... hopefully the neighbors didn't hear that one :)
- He was doing a puzzle one day and couldn't figure out a piece. He said, "This is freaking me out."
- When he was brushing his teeth one night he said, "I don't need help. I'm growing up."
He just keeps learning more everyday and is constantly making us laugh! I am excited to see how he will be as a big brother!

I love it. I miss you so much. He is growing up, like he says. He is so cute! You inspired me to write a few Cody tidbits, too. :)
