I am 37 weeks as of today, and luckily everything has gone really well throughout the pregnancy. I've had the usual complaints, but nothing out of the ordinary so I have definately been counting my blessings. Here are some more ultrasound pics of the girls (which we are still trying to name :) )
Baby girl B at 22 weeks
(she is actually leaning against her sister's head, but you don't really get a clear shot of that)
Baby girl A at 22 weeks
We couldn't get a good 3d view because the membrane that divides the girls was right in front of her face.
Baby girl A at 26 weeks
(finally a good 3d shot... she is also leaning against her sister's head)
For every ultrasound these girls have been head down with their heads together. I think its cute, and it will be interesting to see how they are when they are born.
Some profile shots of my growing belly...
And just for fun I like to compare to when I was pregnant with Hudson...
Here I am in the middle at 27 weeks with the girls... definately bigger than at 29 weeks with Hudson, and even 35 weeks with Hudson...
Some more profile shots...
Yah, I'm huge... and to think I'm 37 weeks today, and probably bigger than last week.
I think this shirt is being stretched to the max...
One more comparison...
I thought I got really big with Hudson at the end... ummm... doesn't really seem like it anymore when I compare my belly now!!
Common things people say to me about my belly--
"It looks fake"
"It looks like a basketball"
"It looks like you could just take it out"
"You don't even look pregnant from behind!" (thank you, thank you)
Some of the more original comments--
"You look about 2 weeks past overdue" --said by a guy when I was like 29 wks
"It looks like you swallowed a beach ball"-- the perinatologist
"You're making my back hurt" --said by a guy
"Are you sure there aren't 3 in there?" --said by a guy
And the most recent- said by a lady at Walmart, standing there with her arms out like she's ready to catch something "So is this like about to happen any minute?"
Some funny things Hudson has said--
-I asked him to pick up his toys, and he said "I can't...I can't bend over"
-After dinner one night he said, "I have a big tummy." When I asked him why, he replied "because I have 2 chickens in my tummy"
-We were at Walmart one day and a lady asked me how I was doing. I said 'good' even though I had just been complaining to Hudson how much my tummy hurt. After we walked away Hudson asked me "why don't you say you're bad?"
-The other night Hudson was going to the bathroom and he said he would call Daddy to wipe him when he was done because "Mommy's tummy is too big...it might hurt...it might poke me in the eye"
Kids are funny :)
We have a c-section scheduled for next Sunday... its kinda crazy to think that we will have 2 girls in just over a week- at the most! I would be really surprised at this point if I spontaneously went into labor before then, but you never know. I am curious to see how big these girls are. At the last growth ultrasound (34 weeks) they were estimating that these girls were already 5.5 lbs each!! Needless to say my belly feels very heavy. I can basically pick it up off of my lap when I am sitting down.
We are getting very excited for these girls to come and know that life will definately be different :) We'll try to keep everyone updated.

That was hilarious. Josie also tells me she can't bend over to pick up her toys.
