I have been wanting to take Hudson to the temple for a while now, and was finally realizing that my time was becoming very limited! :) So a couple of weeks ago we took a little trip to the temple for family night and went to the visitor's center and walked around the grounds.
Hudson really loved the big statue of Christ. He asked about the holes in his feet, and it gave us a good teaching moment. It makes me realize I need to study up more so I can be prepared to answer these questions that come from a 3-year-old.... where do they think of these things?
They also had an area that looked like little houses where they played videos that answered various gosple/life questions. Hudson just wasn't the right height to stand and watch- the fence was right in his line of vision, so we let him sit up there to watch.

We walked around the grounds (of course Hudson had to put his hands in the fountain). We went up close so he could get a good look. I love this boy. He is just getting so big. I am excited for him to be learning and growing so much. I want him to know how important the temple is, and how much our Heavenly Father loves us. I hope I can teach him all the things he will need to know.
