California (part 1)

So I am a little behind on my posts, seeing as our trip to California was at the end of May, but oh well!  Better late than never....  Abe and I did Disney's  'give a day, get a day' thing, so we decided to go before I got too big and before the babies came.  We stayed at Abe's grandparents and also visited his Aunt Sandra and Uncle Dick while we were in town.

Abe and Hudson went exploring in Grandma and Grandpa Kern's backyard.  They found some little bugs as well as a GIANT grasshopper.  Hudson usually loves bugs, but he was a little leery of this one... I think because it could jump really fast and far.

Hudson and Grandpa Kern enjoyed many games of "dark in the dark."  They have this hallway that you can completely close off so it is pitch black, and you take flashlights in with you to play.

We went to Aunt Sandra's one afternoon.  Hudson loved playing in their backyard.  It was almost like a jungle.  They have lots of plants as well as citrus trees that they helped to pick some fruit off of.

Hudson really loved Uncle Dick from the first second we got there, and he requested to take a picture with just him.

The next day we were off to Disneyland!!!....
