Meal time

As Hudson has been getting older, meal times have become more interesting, and even more so now that he doesn't let me help him. Here is a small glimpse into our everyday adventures in eating.

Hudson is quite picky about what he eats. If he does not like it, he cannot even have it on his plate. As you can see here.... he has nothing left! But what was I thinking trying to get him to eat vegetables anyway?? :) He also has to empty his plate like this when he is finished eating. He can't just leave his plate, he has to pick off every piece or dump it on the table.

One of his new favorite foods is pancakes. I guess he decided to make a tower on top of his cup one day.

And then tried to eat it.... not sure how that works!

Applesauce anyone? Did any of it even make it into his mouth??

And yogurt.... a long lost love. Hudson used to love it, then hated it, but now loves it again. I hardly ever give it to him, though, because he ends up like this!

And this! Finger painting anyone?

A lot of the time Hudson likes to stand on his stool at the counter to eat. Here he is disecting his PB & J. He loves the jelly side, so I try to be sneaky and put peanut butter on both sides so he has to get at least a little with the jelly.

Here's to happy eating!

It does get easier! At least it did with my kids. Not so say that they change their minds about veggies!

That is hilarious. My favorite is the pancakes.
