The Rehearsal Dinner

I guess it wasn't technically a "rehearsal" dinner since no one actually practiced anything for the wedding that night, but they rented out a section of the Audobon Park Zoo and had a catered dinner for everyone. It was totally cool. They had one of those gigantic tour buses pick everyone up at the hotel and it took us to the Zoo.
We got to walk around the swamp section and we saw these huge alligators, along with some bears, racoons, a cougar, and an animal that I had never hear of before called a nutria. It's kind of like a giant rat beaver- kinda creepy.

They also brought out a little alligator and a snake for us to touch and see up close.

We had some true Cajun food .... I tried a little of most things, but some of it just looked too interesting. Abe, on the other hand, is more of an adventurouse eater. The red things are crawfish... they didn't look very appetizing to me :)

They also had great entertainment!! :) There was a band and then also a couple that was in charge of dancing and stuff like that. I showed everyone up with my mad triangle skills! Abe and I also tore it up on the dance floor.

Here are the Graves girls (minus Shawndel) L to R: Jen, Jeaniece, Melissa, Me
