Great-grandparents

Grandma Faas (Hudson's great-grandma) thought it would be fun to have the cousins and great-grandkids over for a day to go swimming, play games, and eat pizza. This was a few weeks ago, so the water was still a little chilly and it was also overcast that day. Even still, we had a great time all together!

Hudson played with the toy fish and shark most of the time, and enjoyed sitting by Grandpa Faas on the swing. Pictured above are some of the cousins that were there: Karsten with Gma Faas, Tatum, Jax, and Kylie.

Growing up we used to play "Don't Eat Pete!" with Grandma Faas. She thought it would be fun to carry on the tradition with the little kids. They LOVED it! Some of them were still a little young to totally grasp the concept, but were very engaged in the game because it involved chocolate :). As you can tell, Jacey was very intent and focused on the game. Hudson found his ideal spot- right next to Gma Faas (the keeper of the M&M's), and was very good at sneaking large handfuls of M&M's when she wasn't looking. You can see in the pictures that he was shoveling them in, and even had a nice amount of chocolate drool to show for it.

The kids also enjoyed eating pizza together.

Here are Cullen (Cully) and Dean, the two newest additions. They are sort of our "twins" because even though they have different moms, they were both born on the same day! They are such cuties, this picture doesn't do them justice.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Faas! We had a fun time and are excited to be able to do it again sometime.
