Hudson also got excited when he saw the Dumbo ride. He kept pointing at it and saying stuff (it actually kind of sounded like "dumbo"). Here he is waiting in line to get on!
Grandma took a live action shot of us on the ride together- I think Abe is enjoying it the most :)
Here's Great-Grandma Kern with Abe and Hudson on the Casey Jr Train!
Abe and I took a picture in front of this A on our Honeymoon over 4 years ago, so we thought it would be fun to get an updated family photo in front of it.
Hudson enjoyed Toon Town. One of his favorite things was this piano that played silly sounds. He is always trying to play the piano at home, so he was excited when he saw this one. After these kids went away, Hudson was by himself and another girl came over to play it- he kept telling her "no" because he wanted it all to himself.
One of the highlights- Hudson got to meet Mickey Mouse!! I forgot how long that line takes to get through. It is deceiving because it seems short, but it takes forever! I was glad we waited, though because Hudson was really cute. I thought he might freak out (because he did with Santa), so I just held him. Hudson was really interested and kept pointing at Mickey. He even tried to give him "knuckles" and "five." You can see that he is trying to give Mickey "knuckles" in this picture.
We also drove down to Newport Beach one day. Hudson had a lot of fun, but it was kind of cold so it didn't last too long. He would go down by the water and then it would start coming up towards him so he would run away from it saying "uh-oh" over and over or "oh-no" over and over. It was really cute.
One time the water came in too fast, though and he tripped and got all wet. That didn't make him too happy and he got cold because the water was freezing and it was really windy. So I tried to distract him by playing in the sand with him. Of course he got completely dirty, but he enjoyed it.
It was nice to take a break from real life and go have some fun. Its good to be home, though, where Hudson can roam free and I don't have to chase him around the house wondering what he'll find next! :)

Looks like so much fun! Did you guys do any of the pranks like the boys did in the old days? There is a video of that floating around somewhere. I think Wes has it. It would be fun to watch now that they are "all grown up."
Hudson looks like he had a blast! What a fun family vacation!
What a fun vacation! Mason has NEVER been to Disneyland so we will have to do that sometime in the future. It looks like Hudson loved the beach! How fun!
I love it! So cute!
Ah, that is so fun that you guys went to Disneyland! I can't believe the good deal you guys got. I was so excited to see that Hudson went on some of the rides, because that means Shaylin can and I never knew that little kids could. I thought you had to be a certain height. Anyways, glad you guys were able to go and have lots of fun!
Hey Meagan! It's Cori from 2nd ward! I found your page through some other 2nd ward bloggers! It looks like you guys had a great time at Disneyland and the beach... I am so jealous! I love all of the pictures!
Abe looks like he has lost weight!
Disneyland is the best. We will probably go again in a few yearswhen Hayden is old enough the beg to go. Glad you guys had fun!
You guys are the cutest little family! Glad you got to get away and have some fun, I am definitely jealous! :)
