Utah- snow!!

After Christmas we took a trip up to Utah to see more of my Dad's side of the family. We had so much fun and it was awesome that almost everyone was able to come! We had so much fun seeing everyone and spending time together, and of course playing in the SNOW!!

(we didn't actually send Brecken down the hill stuffed in the tube... uncle Abe just likes to try crazy things)

We had to make sure we did all the traditional 'snow' things, such as....

eat snow

have a snowball fight

make jumps to tube down the hill

and make a snowman!!

(we also made snow angels, but those don't really photograph very well)

One thing we did NOT try...

going down the big hill on a sofa sled.... I was surprised these guys didn't actually crash... they looked like they had fun but I definately wouldn't try it.

One of the days when we tubed down the little hill Papa Kurt was the designated 'stopper' because we were a little close to the parking lot... I wished I would've had my video camera because it was hilarious to see Papa chasing some of us down and others who flew off their tubes from being stopped abruptly (no one was injured, so we were all laughing so hard!!)

And of course, tubing is more fun when you go down the hill with someone!! The kids loved doing trains together.

...well most of the kids...if you look towards the right of the picture, you'll notice Hudson wasn't too thrilled to go down on the train. We thought he wanted to go, so we put him with Papa Kurt, but I guess we were wrong... he managed to get down before the train actually went down the hill.

Hudson's absolute favorite way to go down the hill was on his daddy's back!!

We had a great time playing in the snow, and are excited to go back sometime and do it again!!
