So I have had it in my mind for a while to redo this old buffet that we got at a yard sale a LONG time ago. I just never knew where I wanted to put it. I finally decided to move some things around, and then it would be able to fit in our front room. I had to redo the coffee table in the front room, too, so that they would match- but I was happy to finally do something different with it! We had also bought it at a yard sale, and it was in desperate need of a makeover.
(I started sanding and then remembered I wanted to take pictures)
(I had already taken off the doors and drawers)
I used some black paint that I had left over from another project, and I was able to buy new knobs with a gift certificate we had to Lowe's. So I didn't end up paying that much out of pocket when all was said and done! Woo-Hoo! I feel like I have new furniture, and almost for free!

I love them! You did a great job!
I don't know whats more impressive-how cute they are or how inexpensive it was to do! I love them.
such an awesome job - I love re-inventing furniture! we still have Ashlyn's head/foot board in the garage to make over, it needs to be done before the heat returns! the sanding is all worth it in the end - even though I think it's the hardest part! great work
You go girl! They look amazing. I love the quote by Pres. Hinckley, "Fix it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without."
Those look awesome! What a great find.
You did a great job. It's amazing what a little paint can do.
