Our little reader

So who knew a 10-11 month old could have a favorite book? One day Hudson brought "The Foot Book" over to me and kept whining like he wanted me to read it. So I put him on my lap and we read it.....then he turned it back over and whined again.....we read it again.... we read it like 5 or 6 times in a row! I was so surprised because he hadn't really showed much interest when I had tried to read to him before. It was so cute, though. There was this one part that he kept laughing at- I think it was the way I was reading it, but he sure enjoyed it. We keep all of his books in one cupboard of the entertainment center- I think its his favorite cupboard to play in. He will pull them out and crawl around with them.... turn the pages and talk to himself....and sometimes he'll bring one over to us that he wants to read. He's getting to be a big boy too fast!

What a cute boy! As a true teacher should - you are fostering a love of reading! I love it! Do I sound like a teacher or what? Cute family!

That's awesome, keep it a good habit. I love when my kids discover books, Aaron and Alyssa are champion readers now. Wait until he picks up Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, then you will be truly amazed at what he knows.
